Hello, lovers. I am so ecstatic to share a glimpse of what we do around here. Paper Cliché is a full service design studio specializing in modern, romantic semi-custom wedding stationery. Think: understated elegance, organic minimalism, and high touch service.

For today’s blog, I am so pleased to share the details of Ciena and Andy’s opulent wedding affair recently featured in BRIDES! Set against the backdrop of the Montecito Club, lined with sculptural florals and vintage touches, this black tie affair was unrivaled. We always jump at the chance to create alongside the talented team of Faye Fern, and had the honor of Valerie Darling capturing it all 🖤

We designed all of Ciena and Andy’s pieces to engage a modern juxtaposition against the ornate details of the club. Their welcome sign included two pieces, one directional sign leading guests to the ceremony.

Their custom built seating chart pillars made for stunning, oversized statement pieces alongside antique vases and columns.

The draped reception was of epic proportions and felt refined, chic, and intimate. We carried over the modern elements into the day of paper goods and featured both a menu card and individual place card playing with bold display typefaces.
