Kat & Mike's Eclectic Vintage Wedding in the New York Countryside

Hello, lovers. I am so ecstatic to share a glimpse of what we do around here. Paper Cliché is a full service design studio specializing in modern, romantic semi-custom wedding stationery. Think: understated elegance, organic minimalism, and high touch service. The main focus of our services being luxury print methods, premium materials, and a making the wedding stationery process as easy as possible for you.

In the heart of New York's countryside, lies this rustic barn established in 1799. This historic barn is not what one would think of when conjuring visuals of a typical ‘barn wedding’. Think collected vintage tea cups and saucers, mismatched place settings, handmade paper, cafe string lights, whimsical florals, and good friends, and most importantly good food. All was beautifully captured by photographer @sgn.f.

Minimalist was the vibe for the paper goods and stationery, the lobster rolls and oyeters took center stage (which was fitting for a chef marrying a food critic/author.) Custom calligraphy place cards on deckle-edged handmade paper contrasted nicely with the menus that each sat on each unique plate– followed by a bonafide feast. The bar sign boasted cocktails created by the one and only: Dante NYC bar. Dinner was served in a relaxed family style setting with a beautiful spread of farm-to-table food. Rich hues of cerulean, crimson, golden yellow, and deep orange brought the rustic setting to life.

Everything came together magically to make for a place you’d want to stay for a while. I think this is what it truly looks like to have a wedding with just your people. I loved creating for such a unique and down to Earth couple. It was a pleasure to create with @wildlyinlove__.
