Mikaela + Dustin's Boho Modern Dream Wedding | Botanica, Oceanside

For starters, Mikaela and Dustin are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. I have had the pleasure of knowing them for nearly a decade? I’ve lost count of years in general but that number feels about right. I was so excited when Mikaela first came to me to talk wedding because she was decisive and excited and her vision was so lovely and so in my wheel house. Give me all the boho modern, bb. And I got to be there as a guest! And cry like a baby when Dustin walked down the aisle. And then cry some more when Mikaela did. Definitely had to think about sports because my dumbass forgot tissues. Arg.

For the invitations, we kept it simple but impactful with a one piece letterpress design on double thick cotton stock and forest green envelopes! Love me some white ink calligraphy addressing. We finished the envelopes with a white wax seal and some vintage stamps and voila.

Cry #3: Mikaela’s dad made his heartfelt speech at the reception that mixed in some laughter with the tears.

Die cut round menus and half moon place cards. Fun fact. My original plan to do these place cards with pointed pen wasn’t working. So I pulled an all nighter and hand drew 165 names, imported them into the cricut and then proceeded to weed and transfer 165 place cards. I will not be doing this again but for all intents and purposes, it was worth it.
