Retro LA Summer Vibes: Jenny and Nick's Real Wedding | Rolling Greens DTLA, CA
My heart is heavy for everyone in the greater Los Angeles area and can’t even fathom the level of devastation and loss in our beautiful state. Such a frightening and sad start to the year. Looking back at happier times, I would love to share Jenny and Nick’s inspired DTLA wedding. When Jenny first came to me, she said she was going for a retro LA summer vibe and I was instantly hooked.
With a color scheme full of baby blues, hot pinks, and crisp white hues, we designed a fully custom invitation and signage suite full of funky personality and vintage nods. We were so grateful to be a part of such a rich and romantic day with Orange Blossom Special Events who always knock it out of the park.
Their invitation suite featured asymmetrical shapes, letterpress, and a perfectly fun color palette. We played up the graphic elements and retro type to pack a good punch.

Can we take a moment for their custom build seating display? 5 wood columns were built to mimic the skyline and we are obsessed with the final product. My perfectionist self is sad that the middle column was not leveled on site but it is what it is!

The menu place mat settings were one of my favorite details of the whole day! They detailed the Korean Tea Ceremony and other traditions as well as their epic food menu.
We rotated the hot pinks and periwinkle blue between odd and even table numbers of which there were just under 40! What a celebration it was.
Creating for Jenny and Nick was a dream. And to see it all executed so flawlessly by Orange Blossom Special Events and captured so artfully by Gina & Ryan Phot made it all the better.
