Hello, lovers. I am so ecstatic to share a glimpse of what we do around here with you. Paper Cliché is a full service design studio specializing in modern, romantic semi-custom wedding stationery. Think: understated elegance, organic minimalism, and high touch service. The main focus of our services being luxury print methods, premium materials, and a modern take on classic design.

For today’s featured real wedding, we travel to the picturesque Sonoma Wine Country where the Montage Healdsburg provided a lush backdrop for Marie and Jake's intimate wedding celebration. I got the privilege of working with the talented and lovely Heather Hoesch and all was captured with such artistry by the one and only Eric McVey. Pinch me.

We designed all of their paper goods with an appetite for restraint and minimalism while incorporating touches of romanticism. It was a delicate balance and I am obsessed with the end result. Above are their rehearsal menus with hand torn edges (this is when we tear each and every edge by hand to replicate the feeling of deckle edges.)

The rehearsal dinner was bright, vibrant and airy, welcoming their guests to beautiful wine country.

Dreamy notes of citrus guided the rehearsal dinner vibes. The bar signs were beautifully simplistic and also featured hand torn edges.

The objective for Marie and Jake’s invitation paper was sophistication and the natural beauty encompassing their venue and the surrounding area. We letterpressed the mimimalist invitation card and paired with a light moss details card with hand torn edges. The envelope liner was the star of the show and was implemented for both the save the date and the main suite.

The aisle of our dreams was brought to life by @amandavidmardesign and I will never forget it!!

The custom invitation suite featured a fine art envelope liner, linen wax seals, and a custom floral illustration. Marie and Jake chose a refined menu style with personal name cards, adding a soft romantic touch. We paired down on the escort cards, letting the natural elements shine through. The combination of natural elements, greenery, and whimsical designs made for a truly enchanting experience.

With a blend of organic luxury and refinement, the magic of Sonoma Wine Country was the perfect backdrop for Marie and Jake’s truly unique celebration of love.
